We're seeking enthusiastic volunteers to support our upcoming outreach and community events! As a volunteer, you'll play a crucial role in helping us connect with our community, spread awareness about our cause, and make a positive impact. Whether you're passionate about community service, seeking experience, or want to meet new people, we have exciting opportunities.
We will be attending UCSD's Student Sustainability Collective's Big Waste Event where we will have a table, and also be speaking on water quality/waste issues and specific on our work in the Tijuana River Valley.
We will be there from 2-5 PM. You're welcome to come for a few hours or stay the whole time.
The tabling portion will take place outside, in the Sixth Lawn area close to the Climate Action Lab. The panel will take place inside the Climate Action Lab.
Parking can be difficult to find, but there are Visitor Parking areas nearby. The Scholars Parking Lot can be an option, or using the ParkMobile App you can find parking areas with the code 4752. Coastkeeper can cover the parking fee once you sign up to volunteer.
