We are looking for two (2) volunteers to help support our table and cleanup during this event, which runs from 9 AM- 12 PM. The event details are below. If you sign up, you will be contacted by me (Lesly Gallegos). The setup will begin at 8:30 AM, and the breakdown will be till approximately 12:30 PM.
Every First Friday, San Diego Bird Alliance holds restoration events at the San Diego River Mouth, and this round, Coastkeeper is joining! Together, we’ll remove trash and invasive plants from the high marsh ecosystem. Help restore a vibrant community of rare, endangered, and resident species, and learn with us along the way. Come prepared in closed-toed shoes and bring a reusable water bottle. Sun protection and layers are always recommended. We will provide all of the tools, gloves, snacks, and water. Just bring yourself and a desire to give back to this important habitat!
