We are seeking volunteer support for our annual fundraiser taking place on Thursday, September 11, from 6-9 PM, and will need volunteers from 5:30-9:30 PM. It will be held at the Birch Aquarium by Scripps in La Jolla.
If you are interested in being a volunteer photographer, this is the designated form. There is another signup form for the other roles. We will provide a camera for use, unless you'd like to use your own. We will provide a list of names and faces to look out for during the event to photograph.
If you sign up, you will have until August 30th to unregister if you can't make it anymore; otherwise, I will be following up with an email two weeks before the event to schedule a training for what to expect the day of. As a volunteer, you will be able to enjoy the perks that come with attending the event just as any other guest, including food and drinks.
Volunteers will be expected to stay for the duration of the event and to help with breakdown, unless there is an emergency or personal matter preventing them from staying for the whole event.
